Why do I have to click the email link?

To comply with National Minimum Standards for Boarding Schools and Sponsored Student legislation schools must be sure that the duty of care details and any journeys booked were booked by the parent or guardian whose email address is associated with the account.

There have been instances where a student has obtained the parent's school portal login details and used these to book unauthorised travel, with the school believing that the parent has made the booking and the parent unaware. For this reason, in order to "close the loop" an email is sent to the booker's email address with a request to confirm the validity of the booking.

Please note that any taxi request made via i-gtm is not dispatched to the supplier until the email link has been clicked and the booking validated.
